Inter Milan have signed Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri from Bayern Munich on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
The 23-year-old had been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League this month, with Liverpool and Stoke City both said to be interested.
However, Inter have acquired the services of the attacker for an undisclosed fee.

Shaqiri joined Bayern from Basel in 2012 and won two Bundesliga titles and the Champions League at the Allianz Arena, but struggled to secure a regular spot in the German side's XI.
