Arsene Wenger in frame to become next Bayern Munich manager?

Arsene Wenger is reportedly listed as a candidate to become the next manager of Bayern Munich after Niko Kovac was sacked on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger has reportedly been listed as a candidate to become the next manager of Bayern Munich after Niko Kovac was sacked on Sunday.

The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving Arsenal in the summer of 2018 following a spell of 22 years in North London.

Kovac was relieved of his duties over the weekend after a 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt left the Bundesliga champions fourth in the domestic table.

According to The Guardian, Wenger is being lined up as somebody who could take over until the end of the 2019-20 season.

Ralf Rangnick, who has previously enjoyed success at RB Leipzig, is said to be the club's primary candidate for the position.

Reports have stated that Wenger is set to take up an administrative role at FIFA, although he remains determined to return to management.
