Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic wants to return to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window, according to a report.

Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic is reportedly keen on a return to Bayern Munich.

The 33-year-old, who has not made a single appearance for Juve this season, continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla have also been credited with an interest in the Croatia international as he prepares to leave the Italian champions at the start of 2020.

However, according to Calciomercato, Mandzukic is privately desperate to secure a return to Bayern, where he spent two seasons before leaving for Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014.

The 2018 World Cup finalist managed 48 goals in 88 games for the German giants, winning two Bundesliga titles and the Champions League during his time at the Allianz Arena.

Juve have reportedly informed interested parties that Mandzukic can leave the Italian club for just £4.6m during the January transfer window.
