Manchester United could turn to former RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to a report.

Manchester United could reportedly turn to former RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick should they decide to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as head coach.

The Red Devils picked up a welcome point against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, but a disappointing start to the 2019-20 campaign has left the club in 14th spot in the table.

Solskjaer's position at the helm continues to be called into question, and it is thought that a change could be made if the team continue to struggle to pick up results in the coming weeks.

According to The Guardian, Rangnick 'is one of only a few options' that United would consider if the powers that be decide to change their manager once again.

The 61-year-old, who has also been linked with Bayern Munich, had two separate spells in charge of Leipzig before leaving the club at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

The German is now employed by the Red Bull company as head of sport but is reportedly keen to work in the Premier League in the near future.

United will continue their Europa League campaign with a trip to Partizan Belgrade on Thursday night before visiting Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
