Championship strugglers Blackpool have reportedly taken Chris Eagles on trial.
The 28-year-old has been without a club ever since he was released by Bolton Wanderers at the end of last season.
It was thought that the winger had been the target of Millwall boss Ian Holloway, but he has rejected the chance to move to London in favour of a potential switch to Bloomfield Road, according to the Blackpool Gazette.
The report added that the former Manchester United player scored in an in-house Blackpool match last week in front of watching manager Lee Clark.
Eagles and fellow trialist Darren O'Dea are now both expected to feature in a friendly against Man United tomorrow afternoon, after which a decision will be made regarding their futures with the club.
