Brighton & Hove Albion assistant boss Charlie Oatway is delighted with his side's victory over table-topping Cardiff City.

Brighton & Hove Albion assistant boss Charlie Oatway has revealed his delight following his side's win over table-topping Cardiff City.

Strikes from Andrea Orlandi and Jose Ulloa were enough to secure the points for the Seagulls and helped condemn the Bluebirds to their second home defeat of the season.

Oatway told reporters: "Everyone knows Cardiff have been up there all season and to get any points here is a great achievement.

"We knew they would throw everything at is but they boys were magnificent the way they about their business."

Brighton are now just two points behind Middlesbrough in the playoff places with a game in hand.
