Bolton Wanderers earn an unlikely point in the 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion, thanks to a late equaliser from David Ngog.

David Ngog's dramatic injury-time equaliser earned Bolton Wanderers a point in the 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

A handball by Darren Pratley gave the Seagulls a penalty after 14 minutes, which Ashley Barnes stepped up to take. Adam Bogdan kept his effort from the spot out to keep the score level.

Brighton continued to put pressure on the home side and almost took the lead when Andrea Orlandi's curling effort his the woodwork on 18 minutes.

The away side hit the woodwork again just a minute later as Dean Hammond came close.

After 36 minutes, Craig Mackail-Smith hit the woodwork for the third time for Brighton when his header crashed off the bar.

Despite the dominant display from Gus Poyet's side, the score at half-time was surprisingly still at 0-0.

Brighton got a deserved lead after 53 minutes through Bruno Saltor, who struck the ball past Bogdan from distance to make it 1-0.

Against the run of play, Bolton grabbed an equaliser in dramatic fashion when Ngog scored in the sixth minute of extra time to end the game all square.
