Russell Slade has insisted that he has not been surprised by Cardiff City's form since his arrival at the club.
Cardiff made it two wins from two under Slade with a 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town on Tuesday, but the Bluebirds boss is refusing to get too excited about the promising start.
"I'm not surprised at the start I have had, I am not surpassing any expectations I had," Slade told reporters. "I never expect to lose a game, but that's just my mentality.
"I am a football man, I've done 650 games or more as a manager and I know what it's all about.
"It is just two games but it gives us a bit of momentum and the belief in the players is growing."
Cardiff are currently 10th in the Championship.
