Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called for Cardiff City to find their "Championship identity" as they prepare for the new season.
The Bluebirds were relegated from the Premier League last season after just one year in the top flight.
The manager told Wales Online: "We need to impose ourselves on the division as soon as possible, find out what our Championship identity is and go with.
"We've got the tag of favourites, but I don't see that as a bad thing, I see it as a good thing. The players here need a challenge and you don't get a bigger challenge than being expected to win the vast majority of your games.
"We've got the players here to make a success of things next season I've got no doubts about that. What we have is a squad that is packed with Championship experience."
Cardiff won the division in 2013 to secure automatic promotion to the top flight.
