Preview: Celtic vs. Maribor

Sports Mole looks ahead to the second leg of Celtic's crucial home Champions League qualifier with Maribor, with the tie level at 1-1 after the first leg in Slovenia.

Celtic can write one of the more unusual chapters in Champions League history on Tuesday when they host Maribor in the second leg of their playoff tie.

The Scottish champions were dramatically reinstated to the competition earlier this month after being hammered 6-1 on aggregate by Legia Warsaw in the third qualifying round.

Ronny Deila's side are now close to entering the group phase of the tournament after earning a 1-1 draw away from home in the first leg of their tie with Slovenian outfit Maribor.

However, Celtic come into the match on the back of a surprising 1-0 defeat at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premiership.

Meanwhile, Maribor will travel to Glasgow with plenty of confidence thanks to a strong start in their league that has seen them take 12 points from a possible 15.
