Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has declared this his side must raise standards quickly when they take on FC Basel at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.
The Blues are without a win in their last three matches and slipped to their first defeat in the Premier League last weekend, losing 1-0 to Everton at Goodison Park.
Hazard is adamant that losing two games on the spin is a reality Jose Mourinho's star-studded squad should not have to deal with, welcoming a quick return to action against the Swiss champions.
He told The Mirror: "We need to win because Chelsea is a big club and if we lose two games it's very bad for us.
"If we'd scored in the first half at Everton it would have been different. Now we need to work in training to help us beat Basel."
The Belgian playmaker faces a fight to keep his place for the Champions League opener, with Oscar and Willian among those pushing for a spot in Mourinho's starting XI.
