The agent of Rafael Benitez has claimed that Chelsea have not made an approach for the former Liverpool boss.
The Blues are looking for a new manager following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas on Sunday after a disappointing campaign.
"Up until this moment, there has not been any offer from Chelsea for Benitez," Manuel Garcia Quilon told Goal.com.
"We are aware of the rumours, but we would like to deny them, there has been no contact yet."
Despite the denial, Quilon did admit that Benitez could be open to discussions over the role.
"Benitez is open to discussing any important offer," he added.
Roberto Di Matteo has taken charge of the Blues until the end of the season.
