Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has heaped praise upon summer signing Eden Hazard after the Belgian set up both goals in his side's 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic this afternoon.
Hazard first set up Branislav Ivanovic to fire home after just two minutes before winning a penalty that was duly despatched by Lampard himself.
The England international believes that Hazard coped well with making his Premier League debut at such a young age, and noted how easy he was to play with.
"He (Hazard) was brilliant. It's a young age to come into the Premier League, no matter how good of a player you are," said Lampard.
"He showed the quality he has with the spin and the ball to put Ivanovic through and he showed great speed to get away from his man for the penalty. He was great to play with."
Chelsea's next match comes against Reading at Stamford Bridge.
