John Obi Mikel has reportedly made the decision to seek a move away from Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Nigerian has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho, and his chances of being played regularly were dealt a further blow in January when the club completed a deal to sign Nemanja Matic.
Despite having three years remaining on his current deal, Mikel will ask to leave the club in attempt to secure first-team football elsewhere, according to the Daily Mail.
Galatasaray are believed to be high on a list of admirers, but the Turkish club are yet to make a formal offer for the Nigerian.
Mikel joined Chelsea from Lyn Oslo in 2006.
