Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has refused to divulge whether he will include defender Sergio Ramos in his starting lineup against Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Sunday.
The Spain international was left out of Los Blancos' 3-2 home victory over Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.
"The players don't know and if they don't know I can't tell the press," said Mourinho. "[Ramos] didn't play the last match and both Pepe and [Raphael] Varane were fantastic; fast, playing with ease and very focused.
"They didn't have any influence in either of the two goals [that we conceded]. The first came in a counter attack in which our wingbacks were overtaken and we had lost the compact play in the centre that we had maintained until [Michael] Essien went off.
"The second was from a penalty. Both players' performance was very positive."
There have been reports that Ramos has fallen out with Mourinho, with Chelsea said to be interested in signing the 26-year-old.
