Chelsea are in talks with Serbian side Partizan Belgrade over a deal for Danilo Pantic, according to reports.
The Serbian Under-19 international is out of contract in the summer and he has been linked with a move to some of Europe's biggest clubs.
The Daily Mail says that the Blues opened talks with Partizan on Saturday night after learning that Italian side Juventus had made an approach to sign the 18-year-old midfielder, and they are now the frontrunners in the race to get the player's signature.
An offer of approximately £1.25m is said to have been accepted by Partizan, while Chelsea plan to send the player out on loan to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem should they complete the deal.
Pantic has made 13 appearances for his side this season.
