Xavi will reportedly target Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman if the Spaniard is confirmed as Ronald Koeman's replacement at Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are believed to be on the verge of appointing Xavi as their new manager, with Koeman sacked on Wednesday night following the 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.
According to Sport, Xavi is a huge admirer of Coman and will attempt to bring the France international to Camp Nou either in January or during next summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old's contract at the Allianz Arena is due to expire in June 2023, and it is understood that discussions over a possible extension have stalled.
Coman, also linked with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, has scored once in eight appearances for Bayern in all competitions during the 2021-22 campaign.
The Frenchman, who is allegedly viewed as an alternative to Manchester City's Raheem Sterling, has scored 42 goals and registered 50 assists in 208 appearances for his German club since making the move from Juventus.
