Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak has admitted that he has noticed a difference in attitude at the club since the arrival of Alan Pardew.
The Australia international was away on duty at the Asian Cup when the 53-year-old was appointed as Neil Warnock's successor at Selhurst Park.
In the 30-year-old's absence, Palace have experienced an upturn in form with Pardew at the helm, and Jedinak feels that has changed the atmosphere around the training ground significantly.
He told reporters: "I have seen the immediate lift he has given everybody.
"I came into the training ground last week. First day back and I could already see the difference. Just the positivity around and that's what you need at this level.
"The way we have taken to what has happened in the last six weeks is great. Very encouraging."
Pardew's side play Arsenal in the Premier League later today.
