Steve Parish: 'Wilfried Zaha can rediscover best form'

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish believes that Wilfried Zaha can rediscover his best form after securing a permanent return to the club.

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has claimed that Wilfried Zaha can get back to his best after securing a permanent return to Selhurst Park.

Zaha has spent this season on loan at the Eagles after failing to make an impact at Manchester United, and the club agreed a deal to keep the 22-year-old, who has been backed to become a key player under Alan Pardew.

"Wilf has to perform and he knows that. He has to fight for his place but he knows it's more competitive than the last time he was here," Parish told Holmesdale Radio.

"A year not playing and not getting experience in the Premier League is not great for him. He knows he has got his work cut out, but has a manager who really likes him.

"But we think we can get him back on track. He has shown encouraging signs on loan here and needs to play regularly."

Zaha played just 28 minutes of Premier League football for United.
