Dynamo Moscow president Gennady Solovev has insisted that manager Dan Petrescu will not be leaving the Russian club to join Crystal Palace.
Earlier this week, reports linked Petrescu with the vacant position at Selhurst Park, but Solovev has revealed that the former Chelsea defender will not be returning to the Premier League.
Solovev told Sovetskiy Sport: "Dan works for Dynamo. He is not talking about leaving, he is not torn.
"He is an honest man and there is nothing to hide. Petrescu doesn't even understand himself where the rumours are coming from."
Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has stated that he hopes to appoint a new manager by the end of the week.
