Everton defender Michael Keane has claimed that he and his teammates are ready for their early start to the season in the Europa League.
After finishing in seventh place in the Premier League during the last campaign, the Toffees enter at the third qualifying round and must win two matches in order to reach the group stages.
At the end of July, they face either Brann or Ruzemberok at Goodison Park, and Keane has insisted that the first-team squad are "looking good" ahead of the fixture.
The 24-year-old is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying: "It's next week and it's going to come around quick. We haven't had long to prepare like you do in most pre-seasons, so it feels a bit crammed in – but you've got to get everything out of it.
"You can't play 90 minutes straight away – you have to work your way up slowly, but I think all the lads are looking good."
On Wednesday, Everton continued their preparations with a 3-0 victory against FC Twente.
