Everton forward Kevin Mirallas will reportedly be out of action for a week with a hamstring injury and is likely to return for next weekend's clash against Norwich City.

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas will reportedly be out of action for a week following a scan on the Belgium international's hamstring injury.

There were fears over the length of time for which the 25-year-old would be sidelined after picking up the problem during the Toffees' 2-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday.

It is understood that a scan has shown that Mirallas will be unavailable for this weekend's clash against Reading but could be involved in Everton's meeting with Norwich City the following week, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Mirallas made the switch to Goodison Park in the summer.
