Huddersfield Town are 2-0 up at Bristol City thanks to a James Vaughan double.
Town were always in control during the first period and they might have been even further ahead had it not been for Tom Heaton.
It was the away side who dominated from kickoff and within a minute they could have been ahead, but Oliver Norwood's curling effort went inches wide of the far post.
Huddersfield didn't have to wait for long though, as a minute later Oscar Gobern played in Lee Novak, whose square pass was tapped in by Vaughan.
It could have been two another minute after that, but Vaughan couldn't quite convert Novak's header back across goal.
Shortly afterwards, it was 2-0, as Vaughan flicked in Norwood's free kick for his second of the day.
The striker was denied his hat-trick five minutes later, when after another good pass from Novak, Heaton came out on top in a one-on-one with the forward.
The hosts regrouped after that and managed to see the game out until half time with no more goals conceded.
