Huddersfield Town manager Simon Grayson has said that his team deserved their 3-0 defeat to Middlesbrough last night.
The Terriers were consigned to their seventh loss in 19 Championship games by two goals from Scott McDonald and an Emmanuel Ledesma free kick.
"I'm disappointed because I didn't think we turned up," said Grayson. "We knew that in Middlesbrough we were up against a good team who were looking to bounce back from the weekend's result.
"They are a good, fluent football team who can create chances and we had too many players who were off it and allowed them to do what they're good at doing.
"It was a poor performance from us and we got what we deserved basically."
Huddersfield currently sit 11th in the Championship table, four points below the playoffs.
