Jordan Rhodes will reportedly submit a transfer request to Blackburn Rovers in a bid to secure a move to the Premier League.
The Championship side have turned down two bids for the Scottish international, including one for £12m, over the last week.
However, the Daily Mail reports that Rhodes thinks this could be his best chance to make the step up to the top flight, so is considering formally requesting to move.
Hull need another striker after selling Shane Long to Southampton earlier this month.
