Alvaro Morata has sustained a knee injury in training just two days after completing his move to Italian champions Juventus.
The Serie A side paid €20m (£15.8m) to bring the Spanish striker to the club from Real Madrid, confirming his capture on Saturday.
However, the team announced today that the 21-year-old felt pain in his left knee during a training session on their Chatillon base, which tests revealed to be a sprain.
Juventus will continue to monitor the injury tomorrow, and have not indicated how long Morata will be sidelined with the sprain.
