Carlos Tevez insists that it will be tough to score goals in Italy after starting pre-season training with Juventus.

New Juventus signing Carlos Tevez has admitted that he will have to run a lot more in Italy than he did in England if he is to score goals.

Tevez said that it is good to be part of a competitive squad at Juventus and admitted that Italian defenders will be tough to play against.

"Here I've found a squad of players ready to win a historic third consecutive Scudetto and one certainly good enough to do well in the Champions League," La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Tevez as saying.

"What do I have to say about my first day of training here? Well, certainly that I'll be doing a lot more running than in England."

Juve are aiming for a historic third-straight Serie A win next season.
