Las Palmas, Villarreal in goalless draw

Villarreal come away from Las Palmas with one point after playing out a goalless draw in Gran Canaria.

Las Palmas and Villarreal played out a goalless draw at Estadio Gran Canaria this afternoon.

Both sides had very limited chances on goal, with Samuel Castillejo and Jonathan Viera Ramos coming closest for their respective sides.

Pedro Bigas received a yellow for Las Palmas, while Samuel Garcia Sanchez and Antonio Rukavina were shown yellows for the visitors.

Villarreal will be disappointed with the result as a win would have taken them second in the league, while Las Palmas sit inside the relegation zone in 18th.
