Leicester City are reportedly still interested in signing Sporting Lisbon pair Islam Slimani and Adrien Silva before Wednesday's transfer deadline.
Reports have emerged in recent days that talks for both players had broken down, with Leicester unwilling to meet Slimani's asking price of £34m.
Sporting had also ruled out an exit for Silva, despite the player himself claiming that a deal was in place to take him to the Premier League champions.
However, despite those setbacks, Leicester are still thought to be in the running for both players.
Sporting are refusing to budge on their asking prices, however, with Silva's release clause standing at £38m in addition to the £34m they want for Slimani.
Leicester have already brought in five new players this summer.
