Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has said that he is open to the idea of signing Kevin Phillips during the January transfer window.
The 40-year-old striker is currently a free agent after being released by Crystal Palace earlier this week.
"The last time I worked with him [at West Bromwich Albion] he scored a hat-trick so it would be a bit silly not to be partly interested - but we'll see what happens," Sky Sports News quotes Pearson as saying.
Phillips joined Palace on a permanent deal in July 2013.
