Coutinho back for Liverpool this weekend at Newcastle?

Liverpool's Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho could return to action against Newcastle this weekend after a month out injured.

Philippe Coutinho could make his return from injury for Liverpool in Saturday lunchtime's Premier League match at Newcastle United.

The Brazilian playmaker has been out for around a month since picking up a shoulder injury in the draw at Swansea City.

According to the Shields Gazette, Coutinho could return to action at St James' Park, where he starred in last season's 6-0 drubbing.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be ready to also welcome back Glen Johnson at right-back, as well as Aly Cissokho and Joe Allen from the sidelines.
