Liverpool have reportedly distanced themselves from making a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 23-year-old is into the final year of his Parc des Princes contract and was recently linked with an end-of-season move to Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big admirer of the France international and allegedly urged his bosses to make contact ahead of next summer.
According to the Liverpool Echo, however, there is no truth to the reports that circulated earlier this week, with the club unaware of any discussions between Klopp and the board.
Klopp is instead understood to be happy with his midfield options, having spent £100m to bring in Fabinho and Naby Keita during the off-season.
Rabiot, who has also been touted as a target for Barcelona, has started all four of PSG's Ligue 1 games this term.
