Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has moved to distance himself from reports linking him with a switch to Russia.
Anzhi Makhachkala and former club Zenit St. Petersburg continue to be linked with a bid for Srktel despite the Slovakian defender putting pen to paper on a new deal at Anfield.
The 27-year-old was voted Liverpool player of the year last season and has insisted that he is completely committed to the Reds.
He told The Sun: "I just extended my Liverpool contract and I'm very satisfied, so let's leave it at that."
Skrtel travels back to Russia on Thursday as Brendan Rodgers's side take on Anzhi in the Europa League.
