Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has hailed Carlos Tevez as "unplayable" after his hat-trick against Barnsley on Sunday.
The Argentine netted three times in their FA Cup quarter-final clash with the Tykes to book a place in the last four of the competition following their 5-0 win.
The feat came just two days after the 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified, but Lescott is not surprised by Tevez's ability to shun out his off-field problems.
"His performance doesn't surprise me, to be honest. He has been our most consistent player since I joined the club," Lescott told Sky Sports News.
"In his first two years he carried the team on his back. We won a lot of games by one goal, and that was down to Carlos - when he plays like that he is unplayable."
City travel to Everton on Saturday.
