Jose Enrique is given his first Liverpool start of 2013 as the Reds face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Jose Enrique is back in the Liverpool starting XI for today's Premier League clash at Manchester City.

The Spanish left-back, whose last start came against Queens Park Rangers in December, has fully recovered from his hamstring injury and replaces Andre Wisdom, as manager Brendan Rodgers makes just one change from the side that drew 2-2 at Arsenal in midweek.

City captain Vincent Kompany has failed to overcome the hamstring injury that he picked up during their 1-0 win at Stoke City, meaning that Joleon Lescott keeps his place in defence.

Edin Dzeko, who is the Citizens' top scorer this season with 10 league goals, has been preferred to Carlos Tevez in attack.

Man City: Hart; Zabaleta, Nastasic, Lescott, Clichy; Milner, Garcia, Barry, Silva; Dzeko, Aguero
Subs: Pantilimon, Maicon, Kolarov, Nasri, Sinclair, Rodwell, Tevez

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Carragher, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Suarez, Sturridge
Subs: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Allen, Shelvey, Sterling, Borini
