Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero insists that he does not want to leave the Premier League champions in the summer.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has insisted that he has no plans to leave the club in the summer.

The Argentine international, who joined City for £38m from Atletico Madrid in summer 2011, has recently been linked with a possible return to Spain.

However, the 24-year-old admits that he could not walk away from the Premier League champions due to the unique support at the Etihad Stadium.

"I'm very happy at City and I feel appreciated and loved here which means a lot to me," Aguero told City's official website.

"It's been barely more than a year and a half since I've arrived and sometimes I feel like I've been here for all my life.

"How could I forget that? More to the point, why would I want to forget that?"

Aguero has scored 13 goals in 30 appearances for Manchester City so far this season.
