Manchester City reveal that they are interested in signing Napoli pair Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Manchester City have revealed that they are keeping tabs on Napoli duo Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The pair, who impressed during Napoli's recent 1-1 draw against City in the Champions League, have helped the Italian club reach third in Serie A.

"They are two players who we like because our objective at City is to do great things and win," City first-team coach Fausto Salsano told Radio Crc.

"Hamsik has become an important player with the right experience, while Lavezzi is devastating and can hurt people in one-on-one situations."

The Blues continue their Premier League campaign at home to Aston Villa on Saturday.
