Manchester City have reportedly decided that they are willing to sell Rodney Kongolo to Heerenveen.
City signed Kongolo in 2014 but the Dutchman has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League side.
The 20-year-old played 35 games in League One with Doncaster Rovers last season, but it appears that was not enough to secure an opportunity at the Etihad Stadium.
According to the Daily Mail, City are holding talks with Heerenveen regarding the sale of the youngster, who had previously been brought in from Feyenoord.
Should a transfer go through, City will insist on both a sell-on and buy-back clause being included in the deal.
