Manchester City are reportedly closing in on the signings of Fluminense youngsters Kayky and Metinho.

Manchester City are reportedly hopeful of confirming the transfers of Fluminense duo Kayky and Metinho.

Manager Pep Guardiola has already revealed that the Premier League leaders will not make any first-team additions before the end of January.

However, according to Goal, club officials have been working behind the scenes to secure the signatures of two Brazilian teenagers.

The pair, who are both 17 years of age, are expected to make the switch to the Etihad Stadium in a deal worth £9m.

The report adds that no decision has been made on where Kayky and Metinho would continue their development in the short term.

Rather than spending time in the City youth setup, the players could move to another club belonging to the City Football Group.
