Manchester City are reportedly closing in on the signing of Atletico Mineiro starlet Savio, with his arrival set to be announced 'very soon'.
An agreement between City and Mineiro for the 17-year-old to move to the Etihad Stadium was allegedly agreed last week, with the Citizens to pay around €6.5m (£5.5m) plus add-ons.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, both clubs signed all the necessary paperwork on Friday and an official announcement by Pep Guardiola's side will be made 'very soon'.
Savio – also known as Savinho – is expected to join City Football Group this summer, but a previous report has suggested that the winger could be loaned out to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven ahead of the 2022-23 season.
The Brazil Under-16 international has featured 23 times for Atletico Mineiro, including 12 appearances in all competitions during the 2021 campaign.
City have also been linked with Savio's teammate Yan Phillipe, a 17-year-old midfielder who is regarded by the Premier League giants as one of the brightest prospects in Brazil.
