Manchester City are reportedly confident of agreeing a new contract with midfielder Phil Foden.
The 21-year-old is regarded as a key member of Pep Guardiola's squad, the academy graduate making a total of 130 appearances in all competitions.
Foden's form for club and England has earned a place on the 30-player shortlist for the 2021 Ballon d'Or.
According to The Sun, City want to extend Foden's stay at the Etihad Stadium as soon as possible with discussions having already been held between the relevant parties.
While the playmaker has a deal in place until the end of 2023-24, City want to add several years onto that with a substantial pay-rise.
The penning of fresh terms is viewed as a formality with City officials having handed out a number of new contracts in recent months.
