England manager Gareth Southgate is reportedly furious with Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling for turning up a day late to training.
Sterling was expected to join up with his international teammates on Tuesday, but a mix-up with flights meant that the 23-year-old did not turn up until the following day.
According to The Sun, Sterling's late arrival has angered Southgate, who is concerned about the team dynamic ahead of the World Cup next month.
The former Liverpool forward was originally given an extra day off on Monday due to 'personal matters'.
Sterling racked up 23 goals and 12 assists for Premier League winners Manchester City this campaign.
