Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs believes that his side are yet to hit top form this season despite maintaining a challenge for silverware in three competitions.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has declared that his side are yet to find their best form despite leading the Premier League by four points with a game in hand.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side are still challenging on three fronts this season and have a Champions League tie against Real Madrid coming up next month.

Giggs believes that United have done well to maximise their chances of winning silverware this season but insists that they are capable of playing far better before the campaign ends.

He told the club's official website: "Challenging on all fronts is what you want, especially given the strength and depth we've got in the squad.

"We want to be fighting on all fronts and involved in all the competitions and doing the best we can.

"I think there is more to come from us. There is always room for improvement. Obviously we're happy with where we are in the league and in the FA Cup and Champions League, you've got to be pleased with that. But there is always room to improve both individually and as a team."

United will go seven points clear of nearest title rivals Manchester City with a victory against Southampton at Old Trafford tonight.
