Jonny Evans has revealed his relief at breaking his goalscoring duck for Manchester United this afternoon.
The centre-back opened the scoring against Wolverhampton Wanderers, before United went on to wrap up a 5-0 success at Molineux.
Speaking after the match Evans insisted that the three points were more important than his goalscoring contribution.
"I've hit the woodwork and missed a few sitters but I've got it behind me now," said the the Northern Ireland international. "If I missed that one I don' think I would ever have scored!
"The main aim was to get three points and once we got the lead and they had a man sent off we were in control."
Evans made his United in September 2007.
