Dimitri Payet, N'Golo Kante make France squad

West Ham United attacker Dimitri Payet and Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante are both included in France's latest international squad.

Premier League duo Dimitri Payet and N'Golo Kante have been included in the France squad for their upcoming friendlies against Russia and Netherlands.

West Ham United attacker Payet has scored eight goals and registered seven assists in England's top flight this season, with his performances drawing a host of praise.

Kante, meanwhile, has played a key role in Leicester City's Premier League title assault and the midfielder could win his first cap in the fixtures later this month.

There is no room for Manchester United's Morgan Schneiderlin, but teammate Anthony Martial has been selected as one of the strikers alongside Arsenal's Olivier Giroud.

Hugo Lloris, Laurent Koscielny, Mamadou Sakho and Bacary Sagna are also representatives from the Premier League as Euro 2016 hosts France continue their preparation for this summer's tournament.

Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye, Blaise Matuidi, Moussa Sissoko, N'Golo Kante, Paul Pogba, Lassant Diarra
