Manchester United players 'rowed during half-time of Tottenham Hotspur defeat'

Manchester United players rowed during the interval of last weekend's 6-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

Manchester United players reportedly engaged in heated discussions during the interval of last weekend's 6-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes sent the Red Devils into an early lead at Old Trafford, but Spurs were 4-1 ahead at half time and scored twice more in the second period to make it a miserable afternoon for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

According to The Athletic, a number of United players lost their temper at the interval of the Premier League clash, with Fernandes among those to row with his teammates.

The report claims that the Portuguese was also unhappy by Solskjaer's decision to replace him, with the Red Devils manager making two alterations after losing Anthony Martial to a red card.

The 20-time English champions, who have now lost two of their three Premier League games this season, are back in action away to Newcastle United on October 17.

Martial's suspension could see Mason Greenwood start through the middle at St James' Park as Edinson Cavani is almost certain to be unavailable with the new arrival currently in self-isolation.
