Bruno Fernandes is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a new deal worth £200k per week at Manchester United.
The former Sporting Lisbon man continues to go from strength to strength under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, racking up 28 goals and 17 assists across all competitions this season.
Fernandes's existing Old Trafford deal does not expire until 2025, but the Red Devils understandably want to reward the Portuguese playmaker for his prolific form since arriving in January 2020.
According to The Mirror, Fernandes can look forward to a double-your-money deal with the contract offer that has been tabled by United, as the 26-year-old currently pockets £100k per week at Old Trafford.
The report adds that his agent Miguel Pinho arrived in Manchester earlier this week to discuss a new deal with United, and the Red Devils are keen for Fernandes to commit his future to the club before the Euros kicks off.
Fernandes has been involved in 65 goals (40 strikes, 25 assists) in 79 appearances for United so far, and he could win his first piece of silverware with the club should they beat Villarreal in next week's Europa League final.
United are also believed to have sounded out Pinho over a deal for Sporting left-back Nuno Mendes, but the teenager's £60m release clause could prove problematic.
