Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has reportedly completed his loan move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 26-year-old arrived at Old Trafford in 2020 for a fee in the region of £40m but has struggled to nail down a spot in the first team under any of the United managers since then.
The midfielder has made 62 appearances for The Red Devils over the last three years and has featured just twice in the current campaign.
According to The Athletic, Van de Beek has now completed his medical checks with the German outfit and is set to leave Old Trafford on loan until the end of the season.
The report adds that the Bundesliga side will also have the option to buy the midfielder for a fee believed to be in the region of £9.5m plus add-ons next summer.
Despite several of United's players being injured at various points this season, Erik ten Hag has opted not to utilise the Dutch midfielder, favouring academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo instead.
However, Van de Beek will remain available for The Red Devils until the end of the month, as he is expected to make his exit on January 1.
With the Bundesliga now on winter break, Frankfurt will only return to action on January 13, when they travel to take on RB Leipzig.
