Manchester United forward Antony will reportedly travel to Spain on Friday evening in order to sign a contract with Real Betis which will see him represent the La Liga outfit on loan for the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the Brazilian in recent weeks, with Man United allegedly deciding at the start of the January window that he would be allowed to leave on loan this month.
Real Betis have recently emerged as the favourites, and according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Antony will travel to Seville on Friday night in order to sign a loan deal with the Spanish club.
Romano claims that Antony will spend the second half of the season on loan with Manuel Pellegrini's side, but there will be no buy option included, while his salary will be shared.
The 24-year-old has again struggled to make his mark for the Red Devils this season, only managing one goal in 14 appearances in all competitions.
Antony made the move to Man United from Ajax in August 2022, with former Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag strongly pushing for his arrival at Old Trafford, but he has struggled to make his mark.
The forward has only managed 12 goals and five assists in 96 appearances for Man United, but he has a contract with the 20-time English champions until June 2027, so his future will be revisited at the end of the campaign.
Real Betis are on a run of three straight defeats in all competitions, and they currently sit down in 12th spot in the La Liga table ahead of Saturday's contest with Mallorca.
Antony could potentially make his debut for the Green and Whites in their league clash with Athletic Bilbao on February 2.
