Manchester United defender Luke Shaw to reject loan move?

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw will reportedly reject the chance to go out on loan to another Premier League club during the January transfer window.

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has reportedly decided to fight for his place at Old Trafford rather than entertain any offers to go out on loan.

Shaw has made 12 appearances for United this season but it has previously been claimed that he faces an uncertain future at the club after criticism from manager Jose Mourinho.

However, according to The Sun, the left-back is keen to stay in the North-West in order to try to hold down a regular starting spot, despite reported interest from Crystal Palace.

The Eagles could offer Shaw first-team football on a weekly basis but it has been suggested that Shaw would rather bid to kick-start his Old Trafford stint after missing the majority of the last campaign through injury.

Shaw has made 40 appearances for United since leaving Southampton in June 2014.
